I have been working as a CPA for over 25 years, serving primarily individuals and small business tax clients. I also have extensive knowledge of the local real estate market and have served as a consultant for analyzing income properties. My husband and I have owned many rental units and I thoroughly enjoy helping people who want to begin investing in real estate and need to understand the tax benefits of investment property. With encouragement from my twin sister, I obtained my real estate license in 2001, my broker's license in 2003 and I opened my own real estate company in 2004. In 2006 I became the first certified EcoBroker® in Idaho. I recently earned the designation of SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource Specialist).
I have been happily married to Tim, a local family physician, for over 26 years. We have 3 children: Melanie (25), Mike (23) and Caitlin (19). We also have 3 beautiful granddaughters: Kailey (7) and twins Rowan and Raegan (2).
I am an avid volunteer and spend several hours each month serving my church as the Treasurer of a multi-state region covering Idaho, Eastern Washington and Western Wyoming. I have also served on the Board of Directors of our local bible camp.
Our family has been active in Tae Kwon Do. My husband, son and myself are all 2nd degree black belts. Caitlin is a 1st degree black belt. We also love to scuba dive. All of our kids are advanced level divers and we travel to warm, tropical locations as often as possible to dive. |
